VEGAN POURING CUSTARD

INGREDIENTS:

  • 40g Caster Sugar
  • 60ml Crackd The No-Egg Egg
  • 20g Corn Flour
  • 400ml Vegan Milk
  • 100ml Vegan Cream
  • 2g Flora Vegan Butter
  • 1/2 Vanilla Pod or 1/2 Tsp Vanilla Essence

METHOD:

1. Stir the sugar, Crackd The No-Egg Egg and corn flour together in a bowl.

2. Heat up the vegan milk, vegan cream, vanilla until just below boiling.

3. Pour the vegan milk onto the egg mix whisking all the time.

4. Return the mixture to the pan and bring to a low simmer, stirring all the time.

5. Allow to cook for 2-3 minutes to cook out the flour.

6. Stir in the Flora plant based butter until fully incorporated.

You can add a tiny pinch of turmeric if required to get a more yellowy colour.
