Vegan Donuts

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1/4 cup Crackd® The No-Egg-Egg®
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup plus 1 tablespoon vegan milk
  • 2 tablespoons melted vegan butter
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Toppings of your choice

METHOD:

    • Preheat the oven to 350 F.
    • In a small bowl, stir the vegan milk and lemon juice together. Let it sit for 10 minutes.
    • Add the Crackd®, vanilla and melted vegan butter, then whisk until frothy.
    • In a separate bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder and salt. Stir in the superfine sugar.
    • Make a well in the center of the dry ingredients and pour in the wet mixture. Fold gently until smooth.
    • Lightly grease a donut pan and fill each mold about two-thirds full.
    • Bake for 8 to 10 minutes, until lightly golden.
    • Let the donuts cool for a few minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
    • Decorate with your preferred toppings.
