SWEET FRENCH TOAST

At least 1 hour plus chilling
INGREDIENTS:
1 1/2 tablespoons vegan cream
1 teaspoon cornstarch
1 teaspoon powdered sugar
1/2 cup Crackd The No-Egg-Egg
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
4 thick slices day-old bread
1 tablespoon vegan butter
Optional toppings
.
1 tablespoon maple syrup
2 teaspoons freshly grated orange zest
Fresh Berries
Whipped vegan heavy cream
METHOD:
In a shallow bowl, whisk together the vegan cream, cornstarch and powdered sugar until smooth.
Add the Crackd and cinnamon and whisk until fully combined.
Dip each slice of bread into the mixture, making sure both sides are well coated.
Heat the vegan butter in a nonstick skillet over medium heat.
Once the butter starts to bubble, add the soaked bread and cook for 3 to 4 minutes until golden brown.
Flip and cook for 2 to 3 minutes more, until the other side is golden brown.
Transfer to plates and serve with maple syrup, berries or your preferred toppings. Add whipped vegan heavy cream if desired.
