No-Egg Fried Black Rice

INGREDIENTS:

  • 8.5 oz Black Rice
  • 1/2 cup Crackd® The No-Egg-Egg®
  • 3.5 oz Frozen Peas
  • 2 green onions, thinly sliced2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 Clove of Garlic, crushed
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 teaspoons sesame oil
  • 1 Tbsp Light Soy Sauce
  • Salt & Pepper

METHOD:

  1. Drain and let cool completely.
  2. In a skillet over high heat, scramble the Crackd, stirring often, for about 5 to 7 minutes until it looks like scrambled eggs. Remove from the heat and let cool.
  3. In a wok or nonstick skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat.
  4. Add the green onions and garlic and cook briefly until fragrant.
  5. In a wok or non-stick frying pan place the vegetable oil and lightly fry the green onion and garlic.
  6. Add the peas and cooked Crackd scramble.
  7. Stir-fry for another 2 minutes.
  8. Add the soy sauce and sesame oil. Stir well and season to taste.
  9. Transfer to a serving bowl and top with extra green onions.
